This was just a personal project I did for fun after watching a course on render layers and compositing (this scene is my own creation btw - all from scratch besides some Quixel Megascans assets).
I wanted to see if I could composite for a start and also by using this method I could push volumetric fog a bit further than I have in the past (and failed). Also wanted to focus a bit more on mood, lighting, composition and narrative.
I am definitely looking into learning Unreal Engine though as the speed of things and their new nanite and lumen features look very appealing!
This was rendered in Blender Eevee & Cycles.
